On July 31, 2023, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation held a live conversation on what the signs of a new social contract look like with Kerry Anne McGeary, Deputy Director of RWJF’s Healthy Children and Families strategic portfolio.
The discussion featured leaders in the field, including Darrick Hamilton, professor of economics and urban policy and founding director of the Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy at The New School; Tara Dawson McGuinness, founder and senior director of the New Practice Lab at New America; and Corhonda Corley, a disabilities advocate, parent leader, and member of RWJF’s Family Advisory Committee.
During the conversation, the panelists highlighted how we can build the power and voice of families, parents, and caregivers to move the social contract forward and ultimately lead us to a healthier future for all children and families.
